Support

Philadelphia Wooden Boat Factory depends on the support of institutional and individual donors to make our programming possible. Here are some of the many ways you can help us.

Donate

You can donate online now or send us a donation by mail using the attached donation form. You can increase the size of your gift if your company has a matching gift program. Contact your Human Resources department to see if your company has such a program and how to take advantage of it.

United Way

We are a member of United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey's Donor Choice Program. If your company runs a Workplace Campaign, you can make a gift via automatic payroll deduction and designate that gift for the Philadelphia Wooden Boat Factory by using our Donor Choice ID number: 8635

EITC program

Pennsylvania offers tax credits for contributions made to educational improvement organizations (EIO) under the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC). A company may receive PA State tax credits equal to 75% of its contribution up to a maximum of $750,000 per taxable year. This can be increased to 90%, if a company agrees to provide the same amount for two consecutive tax years.

Volunteer

PWBF welcomes the support of volunteers. Here are a few way you can engage with us and support our mission: help with environmental clean-up days, provide additional adult supervision for on-water activities, as well as lend a hand in the boat shop. For more information regarding the full range of volunteer opportunities, contact info@woodenboatfactory.org. For a volunteer application, click here.

Our Financials

We are a 501(c)(3) organization operating under federal EIN# 23-2997335.
